Innovative multi-modal transport & storage for dry powders
ISOTAINER Model ITV-27-4 is our flagship product. Features are:
* Low tare weight of 3 tonne maximises payload on rail, road and marine transport.
* High cubic capacity is 27 m3 of useable space within the isotainer allows the low tare weight to be used effectively.
* Isotainer Model ITV-27-4 is fully compliant with AS1210-2010 for pressure vessels. It has a design registration with Workcover NSW that is valid across Australia.
* Isotainer Model ITV-27-4 is fully tested and certified by CSC for shipping, rail and road use. There are no restrictions on stack height up to 8 high loaded.
* Isotainer Model ITV-27-4 has been tested and certified compliant to ISO1496.1 Amendment 3, which is the dynamic test for longitudinal restraint. It is commonly called the crash test, and it was introduced for assessing suitability on rail operations.
* Isotainer Model ITV-27-4 is fully within gauge for height, width and length for shipping. Many of the others are overwidth and are restricted for shipping, so it is truly intermodal.
* Performance data from our customers shows that a discharge rate for cement of 1.4 tonne per minute is being achieved, which is twice the rate of other isotainers. This efficiency is a big cost saving for high volume users, and is directly applicable to the efficiency of rail and road train operations.
* The residual after discharge is less than 0.1 percent, so full payload is maintained continually.
* There is no reason to enter the tank for fluidiser service. Maintenance is performed outside the tank, so confined space issues do not come into play.
* Isotainers can be used as on site storage. For example 4 x Isotainers can store between 100 and 125 tonne. The capital cost and establishment costs are low compared to fixed silos, and the mobility is far superior.
* Options offered, allow the operator to specify features on the Isotainer to carry out an exact requirement.
* The Isotainer ITV-27-4 should be considered as a replacement for "other" heavier and older less efficient tanks to improve the profitability of the operation in terms of payload and discharge efficiency.
